Artist Marcus Eisenhuth

Marcus has done several steop by step articles and his work has been featured on the covers of issue 14 and 5.

I was born in Berlin in 1981 . Since my earliest childhood I have been extensively engaged in drawing and painting. At the age of 7 I got my first airbrush gun for my birthday (but my interest in it was rather limited at first). At the age of 9 I discovered the spray can for myself. In 2007 , after almost two decades of designing facades, etc., I increasingly devoted myself to airbrush art. In 2008 I happened to find the “Airbrush Step by Step” in a newspaper kiosk and it was all over me – I started to deal with the airbrush gun every day. In 2011 I started my own business part-time and since then I have been working almost exclusively with airbrush. In 2013 I started very enthusiastically to present the topic of airbrushing in artist and graffiti supply shops in order to promote it in Berlin and to show artists what is possible with it. That same year I joined the airbrush trade association. Since 2014 I have been teaching airbrush courses and working groups worldwide. In 2015 I set up my own studio with a training room in Berlin and entered into a close and successful cooperation with Createx Europe and Iwata Germany. In 2016 I dared to take the step into full-time self-employment and have been available to interested parties, artists and customers in an advisory and creative capacity ever since. Furthermore, I look forward to new challenges in the field of airbrushing.
